Grip Screw O-Rings Installation

Our O-rings are made from a special compound and are manufactured right here in our facility, these are not over the counter O-rings that can be purchased at your local hardware store, they are a special size and toughness just for firearms, we suggest you purchase at least eight (8) grip screw O-rings for every set of Grips. Because Our O-rings are a special size sometimes it may be necessary to use two (2) O-rings per screw to provide enough tension also If you remove your grips often, it is a great idea to buy more grip screw O-rings because they do their job by getting smashed and will therefore wear out after several uses. When using O-rings, we suggest the grip screws be installed with minimal amount of torque, high torque may cause the O-Ring to be overly crushed therefore hampering their benefits. There are several benefits to using O-rings. (1) They prevent grip screws from loosening. (2) They prevent abrasive grips from scuffing the frame by shifting during discharge. (3) They provide an overall tighter grip mounting for optimal performance. (4) The O-rings are helpful every time you clean and disassemble your firearm because they keep sweat and debris from getting underneath the grips that could cause potential problems later.(5) They keep grip screws from tightening down on bushings, or frame in some cases, which will cause big problems later when removing grips and the old headache of bushings coming out with the grip screws .

Some model firearms do not use grip screw bushings, so the O-rings will either sit on the frame or on the counterbore of the grip itself.
